MGM Resorts International Facility Changeover (Part-Time) MassMutual Center (MGM Springfield) in Springfield, Massachusetts

Responsible for the setup and breakdown of staging, risers, chairs, bleachers, house drapes, and flooring for events held in the MassMutual Center. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures


  • Sets and strikes staging, risers, chairs, bleachers, house drapes, carpeting, portable flooring, hockey dashers, ice making, boxing rings, etc as directed by the Arena Conversion Supervisor.

  • Stores equipment in pre-designated areas.

  • Performs minor maintenance on equipment used for setting and striking events.

  • Operates company vehicles related to arena operations.

  • Performs administrative duties related to event productions.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Effectively communicate in English, both oral and written forms


Previous experience working in a similar environment


  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States


  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both oral and written forms

  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards.

  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in written form

  • Must have strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts


  • Varied shifts to include weekends and holidays, both on property and off.
